§1. General Provisions

1. The Organizer of the contest is Zanzi Resort, with its registered office in Kama, P.O. Box 3663 Zanzibar, Tanzania (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer").

2. The prize is funded by the Organizer.

3. This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram. Meta Platforms, Inc. bears no responsibility for any actions related to the organization of this contest.

4. The contest is conducted via the Organizer's Facebook fan page @ZanziResort and Instagram profile @zanziresort.

§2. Conditions for Participation

1. Participation is restricted to individuals of legal age with full legal capacity.

2. To participate, users must have a personal Facebook or Instagram account.

3. The contest runs from 22.04.2026 to 10.05.2026 at 11:59 PM.

4. The contest results will be announced by 18.05.2026 via posts on the Organizer's social media profiles.

§3. Contest Task

1. The contest task consists of publishing a comment under the contest post in response to the following question: “Tell us in a few sentences: What would make a stay at Zanzi Resort your perfect escape? Which place or detail from our offer stole your heart?”

2. Each participant may submit any number of entries; however, only one prize can be awarded.

3. One (1) winner will be selected.

4. The winning comment will be chosen by a Contest Committee appointed by the Organizer. The selection criteria include creativity, originality, and the literary quality of the response.

5. The winner will be notified of their win via a comment under the post or through a private message.

6. The Organizer emphasizes respect for others' creativity and the maintenance of a polite tone. Entries containing profanity or offensive content will be deleted and disqualified from the contest.

§4. Prize

1. The prize is a voucher for: A 2-day stay (2 nights) at Zanzi Resort for 2 people (including breakfast) OR A free 2-night extension of a current, paid reservation.

2. The prize can only be redeemed for stays occurring by December 20, 2026, excluding the months of July and August.

3. Redemption of the prize is subject to the availability of rooms at Zanzi Resort on the dates chosen by the Winner.

4. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other services.

5. The Organizer reserves the right to publish the Winner’s name (or profile name) on its social media profiles.

6. The Organizer is not responsible for the inability to deliver the prize due to reasons on the Participant's side (e.g., lack of contact, incorrect data). In such cases, the prize is forfeited.

7. The prize includes only the accommodation specified in §4 pkt 1. All other expenses, including but not limited to international and domestic flights, visa fees, travel insurance, additional meals, and personal expenses, are the sole responsibility of the Winner.

8. Any tax liability arising from the receipt of the prize shall be the sole responsibility of the Winner, in accordance with the tax laws of the Winner’s country of residence.

§5. Complaints

1. Any complaints regarding the contest should be submitted via email to: contact@zanziresort.com.

2. The complaint should include the Participant's full name and a justification. Please use the subject line: "Contest - Win a weekend in Zanzibar".

3. Complaints will be reviewed within 14 days of receipt.

§6. Information Clause (Data Protection)

1. The administrator of the participants' personal data is Zanzi Resort, based in Kama, P.O. Box 3663 Zanzibar, Tanzania.

2. Personal data (name, surname, profile name) will be processed solely for the purpose of conducting the Contest and awarding the prize.

3. Participants have the right to access their data, request rectification, deletion, or limitation of processing.

4. Participants have the right to withdraw their consent to participate in the contest at any time, which will result in disqualification.

5. Data will be stored until the expiration of any potential claims arising from the organization of the contest.

§7. Final Provisions

1. In the event of fraudulent activity (e.g., creating fake accounts), the Participant will be disqualified.

2. The Organizer reserves the right to change the terms and conditions during the contest, provided that such changes do not worsen the conditions for participation.

3. By participating in the contest, the User confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
